This particular fictitious brief was a university asssignment in which I had to create a poster advertising the annual conference of the Association Typographique Internationale (ATypI) based in London.
Since the organisation is dedicated to Typography, I wanted to create a poster based on typography that also included some references to the location of the conference i.e. London.
I chose to make the focus of the poster a large letter ‘A’ for ‘ATypI’, in several shades of blue to add depth and I added a sketched skyline of London to link to the location. The final result is minimal and clean, with its main focus on typography.
